Partners in growth. Guiding good change.

Based in Minnesota, Resin & Root Collective helps organizations address inequitable realities that harm communities. I’m Molly Codding, MPH, founder and lead consultant. My background spans public health, healthcare delivery, environmental policy, community organizing, and natural resource management. I’ve seen organizations sincerely committed to equity work held back by limited capacity to meet their goals. We help bridge gaps with targeted support to move towards a more just future.

I employ a relationship-based systems approach to support work that matters to communities. I designed environmental justice frameworks for Minnesota’s urban and community forestry program, helping marginalized communities across the state access justice-focused grant opportunities. I’ve helped government units and other institutions build genuine trust through community engagement to address systemic harms meaningfully. I provided critical policy support for environmental health legislation that passed in two states. I’ve also led community-centered health impact and needs assessments for Snohomish and King County Health Departments, as well as the Washington State Board of Health.

Whether you’re a grassroots coalition or a large institution, you’ll get a partner who knows how to turn community priorities into real solutions.
